Nata Haus is now open in Frankfurt to deliver you the best traditional Pastel de Nata. Our exciting project is the result of a joint dream to start a project related to the bakery business along with the urge to bring and share one of Portugal's trademarks in Germany.
Pastel de Nata
There is so much to love about this traditional Portuguese pastry. The tart's ingredients are very simple: a puff pastry filled with a custard made of cream, egg yolks, sugar, flour, and lemon zest.
There is something unique about the flaky fresh pastry and the egg yolk filling. Usually served with coffee, cold or warm, and sprinkled with cinnamon, the Pastel de Nata has conquered the world and has its own legion of followers.
